Place2Be Wellbeing in Schools Awards
On Monday 13th June, Mrs Rye and Mrs MacDonald travelled up to BAFTA in London to attend the Place2Be Wellbeing in School Awards.
As a school, we were nominated for the Mina Dell Mentally Healthy School Award and this category included schools from all over England, Scotland and Wales. This nomination was a fantastic achievement for our school, and we were one of only three finalists, the only Primary school to reach the final stages, and the only Kent School in our category!
We were truly honoured to be recognised as a Highly Commended Finalists, recognising the positive promotion of mental health work we do for our whole school community. This took into account all the hard work the staff at our school do every day to support both each other and the children in our school.
